Spring has officially sprung and it’s time to get cleaning. Spring cleaning is not just about your home, it’s for your car too! Our cars can tend to be full of discarded rubbish and items that have been left for months from gym gear, to business documents, or old children’s toys.  We’ve pulled together some tips to get you started:

    • Clean out rubbish and anything that doesn’t belong in your car. Be sure to remove any unwanted items from your boot also as this can tend to act like an extra storage area for your home.

    • Once everything is removed give the interior a good vacuum and cleaning.

    • Tips: Wipe down upholstery using a damp towel. Window cleaner is also great for your car windows so be sure to use it to remove any marks or strikes and don’t’ forget to wash your floor mats.

    • Check your oil, lights and all four tyres and their condition.

    • Check your water level and add screen wash if needed.

    • Check wipers, give the rubber part of the wiper a wash and replace it if required.

    • And if it’s time for a service be sure to get your vehicle booked in to maintain its road-worthiness.
