For a lot of people, the toll tag is the reason you’re an Easytrip customer. The little tag sits on your windscreen and beeps every time you cross a toll plaza. But did you know that your Easytrip account can do so much more than that? Our services are all built to make your life easier, save you time and just make things handy while you’re out and about driving.

Parking

The first thing which is arguably the handiest of them all, is using your tag to park. There’s nothing worse than pulling a ticket in a car park and then having to try find that ticket later right? Or rooting for change with the ever growing queue behind. Does carrying a bag and trying to keep the kids safe beside you ring a bell?  Our Easytrip toll tag can make parking so much easier. In most of Ireland’s major car parks nationwide, you’ll be able to just rock up to the barrier and it will lift up, no ticket needed. It will also lift on your way out and the parking charges will come straight out of your Easytrip account. Honestly, its so handy.

This will work in Dundrum Town Centre, St. Stephens Green, Arnotts Car Park and loads more nationwide. You can check out the full list here. Adding this service to your toll tag costs just €1.50/month and standard parking rates will apply. Now you won’t need to have a bunch of coins in your cup holder.

Car Washing

If your car needs a wash, your Easytrip toll tag can take care of that too. At select Maxol garages, you can drive straight into a car washing station and the payment will be sorted through your Easytrip account. You’ll get a 20% discount doing it this way during the week, and it costs you nothing extra to use this service. Double win!

Activating it is simple. You pull up to the keypad at the car wash and hit the Easytrip button, no other codes needed. The car wash will detect your toll tag and you’ll hear the BEEP. There’s no easier way to get your car squeaky clean. We recently launched phase 2 of our car wash roll out, adding 16 more Maxol garages to the list. There are now a total of 33 Maxol car washes nationwide that you can use your tag to wash your car. See the list of locations here.

Puncture Protection

Our Puncture Protection service covers you for free puncture repairs at any BestDrive Nationwide. Our partners provide an amazing service so pop in to get your puncture fixed for free. They’ll also give you a free 5-point safety check, which covers shocks, wipers, tyres, lights and brakes. Furthermore, they’ll even cover you for a free pre-NCT check. It’s a very handy service before your NCT to ensure your car will pass. You can check out BestDrive’s locations here.

This service costs just €19.95 for the entire year. That’s less than 40c per week! What better way to have peace of mind while out on the road? Good news too is we are currently selling this for half price if you ring our call centre.

Breakdown Assistance

Speaking of peace of mind while out on the road, our Breakdown Assistance is another amazing service that you can add to your Easytrip account. Whether at home or out on the road, our assistance and rescue will have you covered if you break down. This covers anywhere on the entire island of Ireland.

Hopefully we can get you back up and running on the spot, but if not, we will tow your car to the nearest garage and arrange your onward journey. This wonderful service costs just €3.99 per month. You’ll feel better knowing that if anything goes wrong with your car, we’ll be on top of it.
