Data Protection

The Account Application Form includes a data protection notice (or in the case of an online application, a Privacy Policy).

Unless you have provided your consent on the Account Application Form and with the exception of any disclosure made by Easytrip to any Easytrip Services Ireland Ltd. subsidiaries or to a relevant road authority or operator in connection with any Toll Facility and subject as hereinafter mentioned, Easytrip shall not be entitled to disclose any information concerning the User to any person other than to any person that assumes Easytrip duties, rights and liabilities, hereunder.

Any information given by the User in relation to any loss, theft or Misuse may be passed on to the Gardai together with any other information Easytrip considers relevant to the operation of a Toll Scheme in accordance with the obligations under the Roads Act, 1993.

Fair collection statement

All information that we hold concerning you as an individual will be held and processed by Easytrip Services Ireland Ltd. strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Such data will be used by Easytrip Ireland Services Ltd. to administer our relationship with you and to provide you with information about our activities and for related purposes. We will not, without your consent, supply your name and address to any third party except where (1) such a transfer is a necessary part of the activities that we undertake, or (2) we are required to do so by the operation of the law.

As an individual, you have a right under the Data Protection Act 1998 to obtain information from us, including a description of the data that we hold on you. Should you have any queries concerning this right, please contact ithelpdesk@easytrip.ie To cover our administration charges, we may request from you the payment of a small fee.

Retention of data: We will retain your information for the duration of the relationship and a further 12 months when the relationship ends for any queries you may have on your account.
